Studying...

Since I made such a big deal about it in my last blog, I'm not going to carry on with it too much; except to say that I'm studying - again - for the GMAT. Why again? Cause I never took it in the first place. I used the excuse of moving to a different city (a pretty good one if you ask me) to put it off and it was just sitting there in the back of my mind. Last Monday I bit the bullet and decided to pay for the test ($250 big ones!) which essentially forced me to study for it. Pray that by 7:30pm this Saturday that I never have to worry about another standardized test again in my life. But then again, I might have to retake it based on my scores. I guess you should just pray for me in general:(

On a much brighter note - it's brighter out! And for longer. Daylight savings time in the bay hit just as Spring weather was kicking into full gear. I know for all you east-coasters "it's technically not spring yet," but it sure does feel like that over here on the left coast! Makes my studying that much more enjoyable/unproductive. See where I was doing some Sunday afternoon studying yesterday:

Picasa

So I'm still getting the hang of all this new Picasa software, but I think I've more or less figured out how to post pics to my blog once again. These ones are from a wonderful Sunday picnic trip to Tamales bay for never-been-fresher oysters with the Landa family. So much fun and good food. If the layout of the pics stink, here is the entire album:

A full month

between posts, but all is okay.

I'm still recovering from a full weekend with beautiful weather good friends and great food and little sleep. Solid. I'm one of the few unfortunate souls who is working today, but I'm just getting done with a case that prevented me from updating or doing much else in my life. I'm excited to move on to more interesting stuff (the energy markets - not so exciting after four weeks) and have a little time at night. However, I'm hoping that this particular night if filled with lots of sleep.

More later.
